Willow Praise Church

Welcome to Willow Praise Church! If you're not familiar with us, please allow us to introduce ourselves. We are Willow Praise Assembly of God, located off Vine Street in Willowick, Ohio. Our first Lord's Day service was held on July 11, 1993, and our grand opening service to the public was on November 21, 1993.

Church is the body of Christ believers (1 Corinthians 1-2) that seek to glorify and praise God through Jesus Christ, our savior and head of the church (Ephesians 1:22). We are only one of many gathering centers throughout the world for the church to give praise to our Savior Jesus Christ.

Willow Praise Church

By God's grace, we are here to fellowship, worship, and exalt His son, Jesus Christ. It's in our name. Praise. We exist to praise the Lord for sending His son, Jesus, to be our savior and source of light in a dark world of sinners. Jesus is "the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). We also praise Him for all of His good work and glory in our lives. And with all of the good done through our earthen vessels, we glorify Him with and for it.

We host a variety of weekly and annual community activities to build eternal relationships that we can take with us to heaven. Please view our events calendar, listings, and weekly bulletin to stay current with church activities.

Our Beliefs

Depending on the local church you're part of, different beliefs about the Bible and Christianity might be held. We want to communicate the foundation of our faith in Jesus Christ, the Living Word. The list shown here is obviously not all inclusive, but it lays a foundation for important Biblical truths. The list shown below of the fundamentals of Christianity are presented as bad news, but click on each to reveal the good news about the saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus Came to Save Sinners - Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15).
Jesus Christ Died for Us - Christ died for our sins ... was buried, and ... rose again the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
God Gives Salvation - By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Jesus Frees From Condemnation - There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
God Offers Eternal Life - God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
Jesus is the Way - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me (John 14:6).
